Sonos streams SiriusXM Internet Radio to every room of the home

Sonos, the leading developer of wireless multi-room music systems for the home, today announced that XM subscribers in the United States can now access and enjoy SiriusXM Internet Radio on the award-winning Sonos Multi-Room Music System in every room of their home just as Sirius subscribers have been able to for many years.

"Our goal at Sonos is to provide music lovers with access to all the music on the planet," said John MacFarlane, CEO, Sonos, Inc. "We're excited to now be able to additionally offer XM subscribers the ability to listen to SiriusXM's commercial-free music and exclusive entertainment in any room of their home."

To enjoy SiriusXM in any room of the home with Sonos, all you need is a Sonos ZonePlayer, such as the Sonos S5 all-in-one wireless music system, a Sonos Controller, like the free Sonos Controller for iPhone or iPad and a SiriusXM Internet Radio subscription. SiriusXM Internet Radio streams over 120 channels of commercial-free music, exclusive talk and entertainment, sports talk, comedy, and news. In addition to all the great commercial-free music choices, SiriusXM offers programming from many of the biggest names in talk entertainment, including Howard Stern, Oprah Winfrey, Dr. Laura Schlessinger, Jamie Foxx, and Martha Stewart.

SiriusXM Internet Radio is available in the More Music menu of any Sonos Controller. All new Sonos customers in the United States automatically receive a 30-day introductory trial of SiriusXM Internet Radio. After the 30-day introductory trial, access to SiriusXM Internet Radio requires a $2.99 a month SiriusXM Internet Radio subscription when added to an existing satellite radio account or $12.95 a month as an Internet-only subscription.

If you have an existing XM Radio Online account, visit home.xmradio.com to update your password so it is compatible with Sonos. You may also need to update your username if it's longer than 20 characters.
